SearchStax Featured in Portland SUG: Azure Search to Managed Solr

SearchStax was featured during the August 2021 virtual meetup of the Portland Sitecore User Group (SUG). Varun Nehra and Vasiliy Fomichev from our partner Altudo presented on the deprecation of Azure Search and the migration to a managed Solr solution.

Varun and Vasiliy discussed options for managing Solr and how SearchStax is well positioned because Managed Solr is integrated into Sitecore’s Managed Cloud. They reviewed Managed Solr’s service offerings and how it compares and differs from Azure Search, while also answering questions from the attendees.
